  Diabetes  NDSS: Costs vary according to product   NDSS: Australian residents who have been diagnosed with diabetes and hold or are eligible to hold a Medicare card. Visitors to Australia from a country with a Reciprocal Health Care Agreement may be entitled to temporary registration to the NDSS     NDSS: Access point for the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS). Registration forms are available from the pharmacy and Diabetes SA. NDSS members can purchase subsidised diabetes management products. DIABETES MEDSCHECK program assists patients with understanding and complying with their diabetes medication therapy; using medicines and blood glucose monitoring devices effectively through training and education 
  Equipment - Loan / Subsidised  Varies according to product   People who are registered with the National Diabetes Services Scheme. Registration is open to Australian residents who have been diagnosed with diabetes and hold or are eligible to hold a Medicare card.   Medication Monitoring  Webster-pak. $4/week plus cost of medication.   All  No entry period   Webster-pak medication management. Dosettes to assist with medication management. Home Medicines Review in consultation with general practitioner. Fees may apply for consultation with the GP. MEDSCHECK and DIABETES MEDSCHECK programs available: assistance with understanding patient’s medicines, education on quality use of medicine, detection of medication-related problems and feedback to patient’s doctor
